The Safe Communities Innovation Fund (SCIF) provided communities with ‘seed money’ to try out crime prevention and reduction-related initiatives.
SCIF helped grassroots projects get started, supporting community-driven crime reduction and prevention strategies. As part of the three-year grant agreements, organizations have submitted their final project reports. These will be reviewed to identify best practices as part of an upcoming final report on SCIF.
