Alberta Community Restorative Justice (ACRJ) grants

Province shows ongoing support for restorative justice programs with 2016-17 grant call.

The ACRJ Grant is available to:

    • support the delivery of direct restorative justice mediation services
    • enhance a community’s capacity for restorative justice understanding and referral

A total of $360,000 is available to non-profit organizations, including:

A maximum of $50,000 per initiative per year is available for use over a period of up to two years for programs or initiatives using innovative, promising and proven practices.

Grant applications will be accepted until noon on January 6, 2017.

Confirmation of application receipt

The CPRJ Unit  has sent out its receipt confirmations. If your agency hasn’t received its confirmation, immediately contact the CPRJ Unit. 

Failure to notify the CPRJ Unit about any application that you believed was submitted – and not confirmed via CPRJ Unit correspondence – constitutes a withdrawal of your agency’s application.
