Public Complaints and Reporting Requirements

Security Services and Investigators Act and the Peace Officer Act

Both the Security Services and Investigators Act and the Peace Officer Act ensure adequate and effective standards for oversight and governance of security professionals, investigators, locksmiths, automotive entry workers and peace officers in the province.  The Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General is responsible for monitoring the handling of complaints against these professions.
