Do I need to meet all the pre hire requirements before I submit my resume? Yes, you need to meet all requirements listed in the job posting to be considered.
Will I need to transfer to other locations if successful? Sheriffs operate provincewide. Although we try to accommodate requests for postings in specific locations, you may be asked to transfer if the operation requires it.
Am I paid during my training? You will be paid an hourly salary during the seven-week training program. Once you have successfully completed the training, you will be paid a salary with benefits.
